Hello! Summer is in full swing here at Scribble Art Studio with wonderful artwork being created weekly. Here are a few of the highlights so far!
We did elephant portraits this month. Tara and myself LOVE animal portraits. Kids love them because they get to "dress" their animals after they're painted. We've done a variety of animal portraits and they never cease to amaze with their creativity.
I love this bear! Something about his porportions and expression! Too great!
EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE did a fantastic job on their "Wild Things" monsters. It'd be impossible to show all the incredable works but believe me when I say that I couldn't be more impressed with each students drawing and execution of this project.
This piece is a perfect example of why it's so fun to teach art. After we'd drawn and painted our planets and stars I gave free reign and that when the creativity process really flows! Stories and ideas develope! In this piece a alien captures a heart alien while a momma alien yells at her baby alien to stop sucking his thumb.
