What An Exciting Week!!!
Fall classes began last week and the kids jumped right in with some wonderful artwork! We were happy to see some new faces along with old favorites. Here's a few highlights!
Fashion Nite Out!
We were thrilled to participate in the Fashion's Night Out Judge Realty booth installation titled "building savannah: art & commerce". Each participate was given a variety of wine crates and cigar boxes and told to "create" a building. How fun! We created a mini Scribble Art Studio with bird artists. If you look closely you'll notice the birds have been seized by the creative process and are using a bigger canvas to paint (the wall)!
Surfers for Autism!
Sunshine! Waves! Arts and Crafts! What could be better?!
This was our first year participating in Surfers for Autism and we LOVED it! Surfers for Autism is a wonderful organization, their mission is to unlock the potential of people with developmental delays, support advocacy for autism issues and scientific research. It's a fantastic event for all children. The families had a blast and so did we! The weather was perfect with some decent sized waves, usual for Tybee! http://www.surfersforautism.org/
